White Oak Prime
White Oak Prime is a light brown heartwood and slightly paler sapwood. White Oak is harvested from prime timberland in Pennsylvania, Ohio. White Oak lumber is a water resistant, heavy wood, with a low stiffness, and can easily be stained. Often a Quarter Cut White Oak is used,When cutting this lumber at the sawmill, each log is sawed at a radial angle into four quarters, hence the name. Dramatic flecking is also present in white oak.
